SYED HASSAN ABBAS
COO – SYNERGY DENTSU
MY PHILOSOPHY: KEEP IT SIMPLE!
Nobody is a born adman. At least that’s what the world reiterates, but then there are certain things you’re naturally good at, and if you were lucky enough, you’d put the ‘good’ to good use and get what everyone badly needs, SUCCESS!
My story isn’t long. I’m a regular guy…what makes me different? Perhaps my OUTLOOK! Where people overlook, I tend to look. Since forever I’ve looked at television commercials, looked at print ads, looked at movie credits, looked at the billboards, looked at the brand labels and most importantly I looked at and over people.
Yes, ‘Administration’ came naturally to me. The journey to adman was uncomplicated and short. I started off fifteen years ago from a client service executive with a passion for advertising and worked my way up to a Chief Operating Officer with the same old passion for advertising

“I stay young so that the brand does not get old”
Writer, Storyteller, Creative Consultant, Independent Filmmaker, Visiting Faculty @ LUMS
There are many dreamers in the world and I am one of them, albeit a different kind. I belong to the ‘dream wild, live responsible’ tribe. And like every sensitive observer of the world, I like to keep my lens on the pulse of this crazy-free world that is rapidly evolving every day at the pace of revolution. So while in the wake of this on-going chaos, I find peace in the hustle and bustle of traveling, experiencing, orchestrating, capturing and storytelling. But the journey doesn’t end here, it only intensifies as every story needs a staunch advocate and that is when my analytical side comes into logical play in the form of critical analysis of scenario, market and situation dynamics. That is how the demanding times trigger my imagination to shift gears. From the realm of abstract to the concrete. The idea is to go responsibly wild.

With a major in Philosophy, Farah started her career as a banker. But when she moved to Chicago in the 90s, the dot com boom was in full swing. She switched industries and hasn’t looked back since. Passion and innovation are the driving factors in all Farah does – to look at brands and see potential where none existed, or to extract that one missing element which will make a campaign stand apart. Be it rebranding exercises, traditional marketing campaigns, app creation, social media strategy or simply trend-spotting – these are the drivers of a perfect daily diet for Farah. Currently obsessing over ‘disruptive innovation,’ She runs her own brand consultancy and has a rich array of clients based in the US, Singapore, Malaysia, the UAE and Pakistan.
